Yael's sister successfully completed her MA in creative writing by writing ten short stories as a part of her thesis. Yael decided to surprise her with a bounded copy of the texts accompanied by an illustration of mine. The process was similar to illustrating for the paper: I read one of the texts, had a few ideas, Yael chose the lyrical one and from there it just happened.
I never had the chance to illustrate a book cover so seeing the final result with Yael's great typography was really rewarding.
