I was asked to illustrate the cover of Art & Culture
supplement of Haaretz newspaper for their Woman's Day special edition. At the
end I decided not to do it but couldn't get this image out of my mind.
This is the way I see women: in the woods trying to
stop trees from falling.
Later that week the weather was very stormy and one
of the big old trees near my house collapsed. It was lying on the road like a
giant animal while the construction workers were cutting it into pieces.
